PeopleSmart Consulting presentsElizabeth Anne Riley Elizabeth Riley is an accomplished Counsellor having been in the industry for over 10 years with experience as a therapist, educator, supervisor and researcher. ExperienceElizabeth has experience with a wide range of counselling needs for couples and individuals. Examples of her work with clients includes relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, domestic violence, chronic illness, parenting, work relationships, sexual abuse, self esteem, body image, cross dressing, HIV , gender identity issues, Working at the Gender Centre for 7 years as the centre's first professional counsellor, Elizabeth gained extensive experience working with the transgender community. Elizabeth teaches and lectures at University and various private colleges. She is a consultant and volunteer counsellor for the St James Ethics Centre and spent three years as the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the Counsellors & Psychotherapists Association of NSW (CAPA). She has also presented various papers and workshops in conferences both locally and overseas. Elizabeth is currently a PhD candidate researching the needs of gender variant children and their parents. The support group for parents of gender variant children is now running by events only.
